Hyderabad police issues Mandatory reporting order for Foreign Nationals under Immigration Act , 2025
Hyderabad, June 4 (TNT): The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jubilee Hills Zone, Hyderabad Police Commissionerate, has issued a public advisory mandating strict compliance with reporting requirements under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025 and the Immigration and Foreigners Rules, 2025.
The advisory applies to all house owners, hotels, lodges, guest houses, homestays, educational institutions, universities, colleges, hospitals, and other accommodation providers, requiring timely online submission of information relating to foreign nationals.
Mandatory Reporting by Accommodation Providers (Form-III / Form-C)
All accommodation providers are required to submit Form-III (Form-C) online in respect of every foreign national staying in their premises, including:
Foreign passport holders
- OCI card holders
- Nepalese nationals
- Any other foreign nationals
The information must be furnished through the designated online portal within 24 hours of arrival. Providers are also required to report departure details of foreign nationals and maintain records for a minimum period of one year from the date of submission.
Mandatory Reporting by Educational Institutions (Form-II)
All universities, colleges, schools, and training institutes admitting foreign students are required to submit Form-II online, providing details including:
- Admission and enrollment particulars
- Arrival and departure details
- Discontinuation of studies
- Other prescribed information
This requirement applies to foreign students, including OCI card holders, Nepalese nationals, and other foreign nationals, wherever applicable.
Legal Consequences for Non-Compliance
The advisory states that:
- Failure to submit Form-III (Form-C) by accommodation providers will constitute a violation and attract action under relevant provisions of the Act, including Section 23.
- Failure to submit Form-II by educational institutions will similarly attract penal action under Section 23 of the Act.
- Furnishing false information, suppressing material facts, or non-compliance with statutory obligations will also invite penal action under applicable provisions of the Act and Rules.
All officers of Jubilee Hills Zone Police have been directed to ensure strict enforcement of the provisions of the Act and Rules to prevent violations and ensure regulatory compliance.
