Hyd: Dr. Reddy’s Labs Sets Up Advanced Cath Lab at Ramdevrao Hospital Under CSR Initiative

Hyderabad, June 17 (TNT): Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, in collaboration with Ramdevrao Hospital, Kukatpally, has established a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterisation laboratory (Cath Lab) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, significantly strengthening cardiac care services in the region.

The advanced facility, equipped with modern imaging technology, enables minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for the treatment of heart diseases, improving access to specialised cardiac care.

The Cath Lab was inaugurated and formally handed over recently in the presence of Gunupati Anuradha, Founder Trustee of Dr. Reddy’s Foundation; Vikramdev Rao, President of Ramdevrao Hospital; J. Meera Rao, Secretary of the hospital; and K. Randhir Singh, Company Secretary, Compliance Officer and Head of CSR at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.

Ramdevrao Hospital, a unit of Sivananda Rehabilitation Home established in 2002, has been providing affordable healthcare services to people from all sections of society.

The addition of the Cath Lab is expected to substantially enhance the hospital’s ability to offer timely cardiac diagnosis and intervention, which can be critical in saving lives.

According to the organisations, the facility is expected to particularly benefit underserved communities by improving access to affordable and advanced cardiac treatment services.

The initiative reflects Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories’ continued commitment to expanding equitable access to healthcare and strengthening medical infrastructure through its CSR programmes.

The company said the project would support early diagnosis and timely treatment of cardiovascular diseases while promoting the principles of dignity, equity and well-being, enabling more people to lead healthier and more productive lives.
