Hybrid Mahanadu: TDP calims 1.678 Mon Participation across 1,875 Clusters and 12 Countries

Amaravati, May 28 (TNT): Andhra Pradedsh Chief Minister and TDP National President N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday  said the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had once again demonstrated its organisational strength by successfully conducting Mahanadu 2026 in a hybrid format with participation from 1,875 clusters across the State and supporters from 12 countries.

Addressing party cadre during his speech on the political resolution at the two-day conclave, the TDP chief said the virtual Mahanadu had turned into a “major experiment” in his political career and emerged as a grand success.

Naidu said a record 1.678 million people participated in the two-day Mahanadu programme and asserted that only the TDP had the ability to create records and rewrite them.

Congratulating party workers and organisers, he said the event was conducted in an extraordinary manner despite prevailing war-like global conditions and extreme summer temperatures touching 48 degrees Celsius.

The Chief Minister said the TDP continued to follow the principle that “the party worker is the leader” and had ensured broad participation of grassroots cadre in the conclave.

“It is the party workers who have always carried the party, continue to carry it and will carry it in the future. I bow at their feet,” he said.

Naidu said the party had spent nearly ₹160 crore for the welfare of its cadre and assured workers that he would never betray the trust reposed in him by the people and party members.

Referring to his long-term development roadmap, the Chief Minister said he had prepared the Vision 2047 plan aimed at transforming Andhra Pradesh into a “Golden Andhra Pradesh”.

He said the party was giving special focus to education, empowerment and skill development for children of party workers and implementing social re-engineering to provide opportunities from booth committees to cluster-level leadership.

Naidu said the TDP believed in ethical economic empowerment and promised to ensure economic growth opportunities for party workers through integrity and honesty.

Calling upon leaders to support grassroots cadre, he said many party workers had made immense sacrifices for the party and its flag, including selling their properties and laying down their lives for the organisation.
