Grand beginning of 618th birth anniversary of Thallapaka annamacharya in Tirupati

Tirupati, May 2 (TNT): The 618th birth anniversary celebrations of saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya commenced grandly on Saturday at Annamacharya Kalamandiram, Tirupati.

Artists of the Annamacharya Project along with local performers presented a captivating group rendition of Sankeertanas, immersing devotees in deep devotion.

Popular compositions like “Brahma Kadigina Paadamu,” “Kondalalo Nelakonna Koneti Rayudu,” “Narayanate Namo Namo,” and “Enta Matramuna” were rendered. Harathi and Maha Nivedanam followed.

Evening programs include a music concert by Annapurna troupe and a Harikatha by Vijayalakshmi troupe.

Vocal music by  Vedavyasa Rangarajashri troupe and a dance performance by Dhanashree Srinivas troupe will be held.

Officials, artists, and a large number of devotees participated.
