Everyone Must Work Together to Eradicate Drug Abuse: Telangana Governor
Hyderabad, June 26 (TNT): On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Telangana Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla on Friday appealed to the public to join the fight against drug abuse. In a statement, the Governor said that drug abuse causes immense harm to individuals, families and society at large.
He emphasised that everyone has a shared responsibility to ensure that young people remain free from the menace of drugs.
He said that adopting a healthy lifestyle is key to preventing drug addiction and fostering a safer and healthier society.
The Governor also urged all citizens to actively contribute towards realising the vision of a “Drug-Free Telangana – Drug-Free India.”
