Country Chicken launches premium experience store in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, May 22 (TNT): Hyderabad’s home grown brand Country Chicken Co. on Friday launched its premium experience store at Banjara Hills in the city, expanding its footprint in Hyderabad and venturing into new product segments including Country Mutton and Country Catch seafood.
The outlet was inaugurated by Khaitabad MLA Danam Nagender in the presence of G. Saikesh Goud, Founder and CEO of Country Chicken Co.
In a release, the company said it has built a customer base of more than 50,000 over the last five years by focusing on naturally raised meat products, including Natukodi and “Better than Broiler” chicken.
Speaking at the event, Danam Nagender said the company was supporting over 650 small and marginal farmers across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through scientific backyard poultry training and assured buyback support. He also praised the company for promoting cleaner and healthier meat options through naturally raised poultry, mutton and seafood products.
Saikesh Goud said consumers were becoming increasingly conscious about the quality and sourcing of non-vegetarian food.
He said the company focuses on poultry and livestock raised without antibiotics, steroids, artificial growth hormones or unhealthy feed practices.
During the inauguration, the MLA also launched CCC’s Farmers Website, which the company claims is the first initiative by an Indian meat brand to offer complete farm-to-fork traceability, allowing customers to identify the source farmer and learn how the birds were raised.
The new outlet features live bird display sections, odour-free retail space and a fresh-cut, never-frozen meat concept. The company said all birds are sourced from village backyards and free-range farms.
Country Chicken Co. said it now offers a complete naturally raised meat basket, including chicken, mutton and seafood products, with its “Better than Broiler” chicken priced at ₹229 per kg (live) to make naturally raised meat more affordable.
