CII to host 25th Energy Efficiency Summit in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Sept 11 (TNT): The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will organise the 25th Energy Efficiency Summit from September 16 to 18 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) here.
The flagship event of the CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre (CII-GBC), Hyderabad, will bring together industry professionals, business leaders, government representatives, academicians, industry associations and organisations from India and abroad to discuss and promote energy efficiency practices.
The summit, themed “Accelerating the transition to a Net Zero economy through energy efficiency, clean technologies, and sustainable practices,” is expected to bring together more than 3,500 delegates and 150 speakers, with discussions covering over 20 industry sectors, the Confederation said in a release here on Friday.
Three sector-focused conferences will also be held as part of the summit — the 22nd CII Power Plant Summit, 20th CII PaperTech and the first CII-GEC Cleantech Nexus.
The conferences will focus on innovations, technologies and strategies in the thermal power, pulp and paper, and cleantech startup sectors, respectively, aimed at advancing environmental sustainability and climate transition.
A key highlight of the summit will be the 27th CII National Award for Excellence in Energy Management, which will recognise more than 300 companies and individuals for their contribution to sustainable energy practices.
The event will also feature over 110 exhibitors showcasing technologies and solutions in energy efficiency and sustainability, including a dedicated pavilion for low-carbon technology innovations.
