Hyderabad, May 6 (TNT): Etala Rajender, BJP MP, on Wednesday asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party was steadily strengthening its presence in Telangana and expressed confidence that the party would eventually come to power in the State.
Speaking at a party programme, Etala Rajender said the BJP’s continued electoral successes across the country reflected growing public trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party’s governance model.
Referring to recent Assembly election results in five States, he said the BJP had consistently expanded its support base and retained power in several States over multiple terms, including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Assam.
He noted that the party had increased both its vote share and number of seats over the years.
The BJP leader said the party was committed to the welfare, safety and development of the people and was emerging as a strong political alternative in Telangana.
He claimed that among the southern States, Telangana offered the BJP the strongest prospects for forming a government in the future.
Etala Rajender also criticised opposition parties and alleged that certain political leaders had shown disregard towards democratic institutions and Parliament.
He said the people of the country were closely observing such political developments.
Appealing to party workers to further strengthen the BJP at the grassroots level, he assured that party representatives would continue to work among the people throughout the year.
