Around 500 delegates expected at CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam on Oct 7
Visakhapatnam, Oct 4 (TNT): Around 500 delegates, including Union Ministers, State Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, MLCs and industrialists from various places, are expected to participate in the CII Regional Partnership Summit to be held here on October 7, District Collector M Abhishikth Kishore said on Sunday.
Kishore reviewed the arrangements for the summit with officials of various departments and directed them to make all necessary arrangements for the event, which would begin in the morning and conclude in the evening.
He directed officials to make separate parking arrangements for VVIPs and VIPs and install clear signboards at the venue.
He also instructed officials to ensure that entry passes and identity cards were prepared at the earliest and invitations distributed promptly.
As Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed during the summit, the Collector directed the concerned departments to make necessary arrangements.
He called for special attention to the Andhra Pradesh pavilion and MSME industrial exhibits and directed the departments concerned to ensure sanitation, beautification, publicity, medical facilities and fire safety arrangements at the venue.
The Collector stressed the need for coordination and mutual cooperation among all departments for the successful conduct of the summit.
GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, Joint Collector G Vidhyadhari and other officials participated in the meeting.
