Arma Capital Invests Rs10-Cr in EBG Group, Plans Rs 100-Cr Investment Over Five Years

Mumbai, Sept 29 (TNT): Maharashtra-based Arma Capital has invested ₹10 crore in the wellness, food and family businesses of Hyderabad-headquartered EBG Group, marking its entry into multiple consumer-facing brands under the group.

The initial investment covers Carlton Wellness Centres in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chandigarh, along with franchise partnerships for NATUF Café, Adhira & Appa Café and Chhota Bheem Family Café in Hyderabad, the company said in a release on Tuesday.

As part of its long-term partnership with EBG Group, Arma Capital plans to invest over ₹100 crore over the next five years across Carlton Wellness Centre, Tarzan Nature Retreat, Adhira & Appa Coffee, NATUF Café, Chhota Bheem Café and upcoming brands under the group.

The proposed investment will support the expansion of these brands across major cities, including Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi-NCR.

Arun Jain, Founder and Managing Director of Arma Capital, said the company was looking to invest in businesses that address everyday consumer needs and have the potential to expand across cities.

EBG Group’s portfolio of wellness, food and family experience brands made the partnership a natural fit, he added.

Dr. Irfan Khan, Founder and Chairman of EBG Group, said Arma Capital’s investment across multiple brands reflected its confidence in the group’s businesses and long-term vision.

The partnership would support the expansion of consumer-focused brands across India, he added.

The partnership combines Arma Capital’s investment and expansion plans with EBG Group’s portfolio of consumer brands, paving the way for new franchise locations, entry into additional markets and the launch of new consumer-focused businesses.
