AP: Kakinada SEZ signs MoU with Malaxmi Climate Resilience Platform for climate-resilient projects
Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Sept 17 (TNT): Kakinada SEZ Limited (KSEZ) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaxmi Climate Resilience Platform Private Limited to set up climate-resilient technology projects across 20 acres within Kakinada Special Economic Zone.
The first phase of the proposed project will focus on energy storage solutions and bio-energy pellet manufacturing, according to the companies.
The MoU was signed by KSEZ Managing Director and CEO Ram Reddy Ojili and Malaxmi Climate Resilience Platform Chairman Harish CP Yarlagadda in the presence of officials from both organisations.
The project is expected to strengthen Kakinada SEZ’s position as a destination for clean energy, sustainable manufacturing and climate-focused industries, besides generating employment opportunities and contributing to the industrial and economic development of Andhra Pradesh.
