Amaravati, Apr 24 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will receive the Business Reformer of the Year 2025 award, announced by The Economic Times (ET), at Mumbai on Saturday.
According to the schedule, the Chief Minister will arrive in Mumbai at 2:40 p.m. and proceed to the Jio World Convention Centre, where he will attend the awards ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The event is expected to conclude by 7:30 p.m.
The award will be presented in the presence of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and leading industrialists.
Naidu has been selected for the honour in recognition of initiatives such as “Speed of Doing Business” and “Speed of Delivering Governance” in Andhra Pradesh.
The jury noted his role in creating an investment-friendly ecosystem, introducing progressive industrial policies and boosting investor confidence.
The state has reportedly attracted investment commitments exceeding ₹20 lakh crore within a short period after the coalition government assumed office.
The Chief Minister has also been credited with simplifying industrial approvals and advancing reforms in sectors such as technology, IT, electronics and green energy.
Past recipients of the award include Arun Jaitley, Piyush Goyal, Nitish Kumar, Ashwini Vaishnaw and S. Jaishankar.
Drawing from his earlier tenure in developing Hyderabad as an IT hub, Naidu is now focusing on building Amaravati and Visakhapatnam into major economic centres.
