Tirupati, Apr 30 (TNT): Ankurarpanam for the Patra Pushpa Yagam to be held on May 1 at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Tirupati, was performed on Thursday evening as per tradition.
Special rituals including Snapana Tirumanjanam will be held in the morning, followed by the Patra Pushpa Yagam with various sacred leaves and flowers. A procession will be taken out in the evening.
Devotees can participate in the ritual. The Yagam is performed as a ritual atonement during temple festivals.
