Acumatica opens Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Aug 10 (TNT): Cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions provider Acumatica on Monday announced the opening of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, with the facility initially employing more than 30 people.
Located at Nanakramguda, the centre will initially focus on engineering and is expected to expand into additional functions as Acumatica scales its operations in India, the company said in a release here.
The company said the Hyderabad GCC would serve as an engineering centre of excellence, supporting product innovation and developing capabilities for its customers globally.
Acumatica Chief Engineering Officer Miten Mehta said the company had established the foundation of its growth engine in India and expected the Hyderabad centre to become a major contributor to its future growth.
“India’s deep engineering talent pool, thriving technology ecosystem, and growing reputation as a destination for global innovation centres makes Hyderabad the ideal home for this next chapter,” Mehta said.
The Hyderabad facility joins Acumatica’s existing operations in the US, Canada, Serbia and Sri Lanka and forms part of its strategy to build a globally distributed engineering organisation.
The centre has been established in partnership with Summit Consulting Services, an ANSR company, which will support Acumatica with capability design, talent strategy and operational scaling.
Acumatica said it was actively hiring engineering talent for the Hyderabad GCC, with more employees expected to join in the coming months.
