Telangana CM Announces Pensions for Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Anaemia Patients from August 15

Hyderabad, July 31 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced that pensions will be sanctioned to all patients suffering from Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anaemia in the state, with the distribution set to begin from August 15.

Chairing a review meeting of the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development departments here on Thursday evening, the Chief Minister directed officials to immediately identify all eligible beneficiaries and ensure that financial assistance reaches affected families without delay.

The Chief Minister also announced pensions for all eligible widows, single women, weavers and toddy tappers across Telangana.

He further instructed officials to ensure that pensions are sanctioned immediately to the wives of differently-abled persons after the demise of their spouses, without any procedural delay.
