AP Govt to Hold Mega Job Mela in Visakhapatnam on July 17
Visakhapatnam, July 9 (TNT): The Andhra Pradesh Department of Employment and Training will organise a Mega Job Mela in Visakhapatnam on July 17, offering more than 1,000 job opportunities across multiple sectors.
The recruitment drive will be held from 10 am onwards at the District Employment Offices Complex, Government ITI Old Road (Girls ITI Campus), Kancherapalem.
According to the organisers, over 15 companies are expected to participate in the job fair. Major recruiters include Tata Motors, Foxconn, Tata Electronics, DMart, PhonePe, Paytm, Apollo Pharmacy, Navata Road Transport, Magnum India Pvt. Ltd., Innov Source (SBI Cards), Sahuwala Cylinders Pvt. Ltd., Sri Krishna Infra Developers, South-Pazzo Services Pvt. Ltd., Vermeiren India Pvt. Ltd. and NYFC (BigBasket, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart).
Recruitment will be conducted for various positions, including sales and marketing, operations and management, technician and machine operator, logistics and transport, pharmacy and healthcare, customer support and service, and field sales and business development, among others.
Candidates with qualifications ranging from Class 10, Intermediate, ITI, Diploma, Degree, B.Tech and B.Pharmacy are eligible to participate. Both freshers and experienced male and female candidates can attend.
The organisers said the job mela will provide candidates with an opportunity to interact directly with employers, attend on-the-spot interviews and explore multiple employment opportunities.
Job seekers have been advised to register through the Andhra Pradesh Employment portal and the National Career Service (NCS) portal before attending the event.
Participants should carry their resume, photocopies of educational certificates and passport-size photographs for the recruitment process.
