PV Narasimha Rao’s Vision Continues to Guide India’s Progress: Telangana Dy CM Bhatti

Hyderabad, June 28 (TNT): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao on his birth anniversary, describing him as the architect of India’s economic reforms and a visionary leader whose ideals continue to inspire the nation.

In a statement, Bhatti Vikramarka said P.V. Narasimha Rao assumed office as Prime Minister during one of the country’s most challenging economic crises and transformed India through bold and far-reaching economic reforms.

He said the reforms initiated under PV’s leadership laid the foundation for India’s emergence as one of the world’s leading economic powers and continue to shape the country’s development trajectory.

Describing P.V. Narasimha Rao as an illustrious son of Telangana, the Deputy Chief Minister recalled that as Chief Minister of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, PV introduced landmark land reforms that enabled the distribution of land to the poor.

Bhatti also highlighted PV’s contribution to the education sector, stating that the establishment of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas expanded access to quality education for talented students from rural areas.

He said P.V. Narasimha Rao, a distinguished statesman, scholar and polyglot, mastered several Indian and foreign languages and made significant contributions to literature.

The Deputy Chief Minister said the ideals, vision and leadership of P.V. Narasimha Rao would continue to inspire future generations and guide India’s progress.
