Telangana Sanctions Rs 263.25 Cr for Construction of 117 Revenue Office Buildings
Hyderabad, June 28 (TNT): The Telangana Government has accorded administrative sanction of ₹263.25 crore for the construction of new office buildings for 10 Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) offices and 107 Tahsildar offices functioning from rented or dilapidated premises across the State.
According to a G.O issued by the Revenue (DA. CMRF) Department on June 25, the government approved the proposal following recommendations from the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA).
The project envisages the construction of 117 office buildings at an estimated cost of ₹2.25 crore for each building, with the total outlay pegged at ₹263.25 crore.
The government has entrusted the execution of the project to the Telangana Housing Corporation Limited (THCL), Hyderabad.
The order directs the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration to take necessary action for implementation of the project.
The administrative sanction was issued with the concurrence of the Finance Department.
The initiative is aimed at providing permanent and modern office infrastructure for Revenue Department offices currently operating from rented accommodation or buildings in a dilapidated condition, thereby improving public service delivery and administrative efficiency across Telangana.
