TDP to hold ‘Mahanadu’ in hybrid format in Telangana
Hyderabad, May 26 (TNT): The annual ‘Mahanadu’ convention of the Telugu Desam Party, organised every year on the birth anniversary of party founder and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao, will this year be conducted in a hybrid format as part of cost-saving measures.
According to party leaders, the two-day programme will be held on May 27 and 28 at the State party headquarters, NTR Bhavan, in Hyderabad from 9 a.m. till evening on both days.
As part of the arrangements, apart from the main venue at NTR Bhavan, the party has set up 10 virtual ‘Mahanadu’ centres with screening facilities across Telangana to enable leaders from different districts to participate in the celebrations.
The party said the hybrid format was being adopted to facilitate wider participation while reducing expenditure.
