AP: Two-day TDP Mahanadu 2026 Begins in Hybrid Format; Focus on Women’s Empowerment
Amaravati, May 27 (TNT): The two-day Telugu Desam Party Mahanadu 2026 formally began on Wednesday in a hybrid format from the party’s central office at Mangalagiri near Amaravati.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the conclave by hoisting the party flag and paying floral tributes to party founder N. T. Rama Rao.
The annual conclave is being organised in a hybrid mode, with senior party leaders and members of the national executive attending physically, while thousands of party cadres are participating virtually through more than 1,800 digital cluster centres connected via large LED screens across the State.
The central theme of this year’s Mahanadu is “Stree Shakti” (Women’s Empowerment).
The party is expected to deliberate on 20 key political and socio-economic resolutions during the two-day event.
The conclave also assumes political significance as it is the first annual Mahanadu after Nara Lokesh took charge as the party’s Working President.
