CII to host 22nd edition of Green Cementech in Hyderabad from May 14
Hyderabad, May 12 (TNT): Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will organise the 22nd edition of Green Cementech, its flagship annual conference and expo for the cement industry, on May 14 and 15 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) in Hyderabad.
The event is being organised by the CII-Green Business Centre in partnership with the Cement Manufacturers’ Association (CMA), with a focus on sustainability, energy efficiency and technological innovation in the cement sector.
According to the organisers, the two-day conference is expected to witness participation from more than 400 industry representatives and stakeholders from across the globe.
The event will feature over 50 national and international speakers, including representatives from cement manufacturing companies, technology providers, academic and research organisations, and sustainability experts.
Among the key highlights of Green Cementech 2026 will be the release of two publications titled “Advancing Material Efficiency: The Role of SCMs in Low-Carbon Cement” and “Carbon Capture: Technologies, Economics, and Scale-up Pathways”.
The conference will also feature panel discussions involving senior industry leaders on net-zero strategies for the cement industry, along with technical sessions on futuristic technologies for sustainable cement manufacturing.
Organisers said the accompanying Green Cementech 2026 Expo would host more than 50 exhibitors showcasing the latest developments in digital solutions, energy-efficient systems and decarbonisation technologies relevant to the cement industry.
Several eminent leaders and experts from the cement and allied sectors are expected to address the conference.
