Tirupati: Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Vasanthotsavams Conclude on Grand Note

Tirupati, May 9 (TNT): The three-day Vasanthotsavams at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple concluded on a grand and devotional note on Saturday amid Vedic chants, mangala vadyams and Govinda namasmarana.

As part of the concluding day rituals, Suprabhata Seva, Thomala Seva, Koluvu, Panchanga Sravanam and Sahasranamarchana were performed in the morning.

Later, Asthanam was held at the Vasantha Mandapam for the processional deities of Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi, Sri Sita Rama Lakshmana Anjaneya Swamy and Sri Krishna Swamy with Rukmini and Satyabhama.

Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed grandly from 1.45 pm to 3.30 pm in accordance with Vaikhanasa Agama traditions using milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric and sandal paste.

The temple premises reverberated with Vedic hymns and devotional fervour during the rituals.

According to temple officials, Unjal Seva will be conducted in the evening followed by a procession of the deities along the four mada streets.

Temple Special Grade Deputy Executive Officer Ms Varalakshmi, Superintendent Ramesh Babu, Temple Inspectors Muni Kumar and Dhana Sekhar, priests and a large number of devotees participated in the festivities.
