Kakinada, Mar 5 (TNT): District Collector Shan Mohan said that the process of re-registration of SEZ lands to the original farmers was on full swing and advised the farmers to make best use of the opportunity.
Addressing the officers of Revenue, SEZ and Registration departments at a special meeting held at the Collectorate here on Thursday, Mohan said the government has taken some of the lands in Kakinada rural, U Kothapalli and Thondangi mandal areas for the sake of SEZ but later some of them are being re-registered to the eligible original farmers.
The government has already exempted the farmers from stamp duty on registration papers, registration .Hence the farmers should submit their documents and pattadar pass books and governments re-survey notices concerning these lands by March 13 to the concerned Mandal Tahsildars offices’ he added.
DRO Tippe Naik, Kakinada and Peddapuram RDOs S Mallibabu and N Sridhar, District registrar Prasadarao and Tahasildars of Kakinada rural, Thondangi, U Kothapalli mandals were among those attended .
