AP: Bolt.Earth inaugurates 1.5 MW EV charging station in Vijayawada
Vijayawada, Nov 3 (TNT): Bolt.Earth, an electric vehicle charging network, has inaugurated a high-capacity EV charging station with a total capacity of 1.5 MW at P Qube Solutions in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
Located near NH-16 Cross at Nunna, the facility is designed to cater to local electric vehicle users as well as intercity travellers, the company said in a release on Tuesday.
The charging station is equipped with two 240 kW DC fast chargers, three 180 kW DC fast chargers and one 60 kW DC fast charger to support electric cars, trucks and buses.
It also has a 6 kW fast charger for three-wheelers, two 3 kW DC chargers for two-wheelers and four 3.3 kW AC charging sockets.
Bolt.Earth Founder Jyotiranjan Harichandan said the facility combined high-power charging technology and a strategic location to support the growing requirements of electric vehicle users.
He said the partnership with P Qube Solutions would help expand reliable charging infrastructure and support the growth of electric mobility.
P Qube Solutions representative D Phani Prakash said the NH-16 corridor location would help improve charging access for different categories of electric vehicles and support the expansion of EV infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh.
The company said it had deployed more than one lakh chargers across over 2,200 cities in India.
