Tata Steel Colors Introduces Colorcoat Pre-Painted Steel Products in India
The products have been developed with advanced coating technology customised for Indian climatic conditions, offering durability, colour retention, corrosion protection, thermal performance and design flexibility for diverse building applications, the company said in a release.
The company said the Colorcoat range was engineered for hot and warm climates, with features including colour and gloss retention, cut-edge protection, scratch resistance and long-term aesthetic performance.
A range of colours and finishes would provide architects and developers with greater flexibility in building design.
Manufactured at a facility in Jamshedpur, the products will be manufactured, distributed and marketed by TSCPL in India and overseas, providing access to the company’s coating technology and expertise.
Praveen V. Thampi, Managing Director of Tata Steel Colors, said the company aimed to provide advanced global solutions to support India’s infrastructure development, with an emphasis on durability, design and environmental performance.
The roofing and wall-cladding products are suited to a range of applications, including metro and transit infrastructure, ports, warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing and automotive facilities, commercial buildings, defence establishments and institutional projects.
