AP: Rs 93 crore sanctioned for Kakinada city development: MLA Kondababu

Kakinada, Sept 22 (TNT): Kakinada City MLA Vanamadi Kondababu on Tuesday said the state government had sanctioned Rs 93 crore for various development works in the city, including roads, drainage, street lighting, parks and road dividers.

He thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for according priority to Kakinada’s development.

Naidu inaugurated development works in municipalities across the state virtually from Kuppam, while Kondababu laid the foundation stones for the proposed works in Kakinada at a programme held at Yetimoga here.

The MLA said the Rs 93 crore had been sanctioned through the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).

The Chief Minister’s address was telecast live on an LED screen at the programme and watched by officials and public representatives.

MLC Karri Padmasri, Kakinada Rural TDP in-charge Pilli Ananthalakshmi, Satyanarayana Murty, Municipal Commissioner Satyanarayana and other officials and TDP leaders were present.
