Mahavir International Secunderabad to host ‘Jaikaar’, ‘Jalsa 5.0’ in Hyderabad on Oct 2 & 3
Hyderabad, Sept 21 (TNTI): Mahavir International Secunderabad will organise a spiritual concert and a Dandiya Ras evening in Hyderabad on October 2 and 3, with the proceeds earmarked for its initiatives in education, healthcare and skill development.
The spiritual concert ‘Jaikaar’ will be held at Hitex on October 2 at 6.01 pm and will feature devotional singer Nikhar Juneja.
The following day, ‘Jalsa 5.0’, a Dandiya Ras celebration, will feature Mumbai-based vocalist and performer Sharad Lashkari and his band.
In a release, the organisers said the two events were being held as part of Mahavir International Secunderabad’s community welfare and social development initiatives.
Speaking at a press interaction, Mahavir International Secunderabad Chairperson Veena Ostwal, Secretary Rachana Chopra, Treasurer Mitesh Mehta and event Convener Paresh Shah said the programmes were aimed at combining entertainment and cultural celebrations with social service.
They said the net proceeds from the events would be utilised for the organisation’s activities in education, healthcare and skill development.
Nikhar Juneja, a devotional singer, composer and music producer, will present an evening of spiritual music at ‘Jaikaar’. Sharad Lashkari, who has performed at more than 3,000 live shows in India and abroad, will headline ‘Jalsa 5.0’.
The organisers said ‘Jalsa 5.0’ would feature Bollywood, retro, Sufi and festive music, while ‘Jaikaar’ would focus on spiritual music and devotion.
Both events are expected to attract families and music and cultural enthusiasts. Tickets are available through BookMyShow.
