AP CM Naidu to participate in Seva Sankalp Abhiyan in Varanasi on Thursday
Amaravati, Sept 16 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ being organised in Varanasi on Thursday as part of programmes marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service.
The month-long programmes are being held across the country to commemorate Modi’s journey in public life as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.
As part of the celebrations, the ‘Varanasi–Vadnagar Seva Yatra’ is being organised in Kashi.
The campaign seeks to connect Varanasi and Vadnagar, two places associated with Modi’s public life, and highlight public participation, service and social responsibility in the country’s development journey, according to an official release here on Wednesday.
Naidu is scheduled to leave Vijayawada at 0730 hours on Thursday and reach Varanasi at 0935 hours.
He will offer prayers at Kashi Vishwanath temple at 1115 hours before proceeding to the Rudraksha International Convention Centre to participate in the flag-off ceremony of the Seva Yatra.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to leave Varanasi at 1510 hours and reach Amaravati at 1715 hours.
