Ultraviolette opens UV Space Station in Guntur, AP
Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), Sept 16 (TNT): Electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive on Wednesday announced the opening of a UV Space Station in Guntur, marking its expansion into the Andhra Pradesh market.
The experience centre, set up in partnership with dealer RR Mobility, will showcase the company’s performance motorcycles, including the X-47 Crossover and F77s.
The facility will offer test rides, product demonstrations, sales consultations, service support, spare parts and motorcycle accessories, the company said.
According to the company, the X-47 and F77s deliver 40.2 hp of power and 100 Nm of torque, with a 0-60 kmph acceleration time of 2.8 seconds.
The motorcycles are equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery and offer an IDC-certified range of up to 323 km on a single charge.
Ultraviolette Co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam said the company was looking to bring its products, technology and performance motorcycles closer to customers in Guntur and the surrounding region.
The X-47 Crossover features a 5-inch TFT display, three riding modes, long-travel suspension and radial all-terrain tyres. The company said the motorcycle comes with radar as standard.
The motorcycle is equipped with a 77 GHz rear radar that supports blind-spot detection, lane-change assist, overtake alerts and rear-collision warnings.
It also features an integrated dashcam and an air-cooled onboard charger developed by the company.
Ultraviolette recently announced its BIGGA (Big Global Ambition) Factory in Hosur to expand its manufacturing capacity and support its growing product portfolio.
The company has also introduced Battery Flex, a battery-as-a-service model, under which the X-47 is available from Rs 1.49 lakh, with battery subscriptions starting at Rs 2,323 per month.
