HCA doubles Under-16 tournament capacity to 240 teams amid overwhelming demand

Hyderabad, Aug 26 (TNT): The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) on Wednesday announced that it has doubled the capacity of its upcoming Under-16 Inter-School & Inter-College Tournament from 120 to 240 teams, in view of the overwhelming response from young cricketers.

The HCA said registrations, which were earlier closed after reaching the initial capacity of 120 teams, would reopen to accommodate greater participation.

The tournament will be conducted on a knockout basis, with registrations opening at 11 am on August 27 and closing at 6 pm on August 30, or earlier if the revised capacity of 240 teams is reached.

Registrations will be accepted at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Uppal, the HCA said.

Interested teams have been advised to refer to the HCA website for the tournament’s terms, conditions and other details before registering.
