University of Hyderabad to Hold 26th Convocation on October 1

Hyderabad, Sept 29 (TNT): The University of Hyderabad (UoH) will hold its 26th convocation at the Global Peace Auditorium, Brahma Kumaris Shanti Sarovar, Gachibowli, Hyderabad on October 1.

Dr Samir V Kamat, former Chairman of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), will be the chief guest and deliver the convocation address at the ceremony, according to University.

Justice L. Narasimha Reddy, Chancellor of the university, will preside over the convocation, while Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, who is also the Chief Rector of the university, will attend the event.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. J. Anuradha will present the university’s report and announce the Chancellor’s Awards.

The programme includes the administration of the oath to graduating students, presentation of degrees by the Deans of Schools and presentation of medals to awardees.
