TTD suspends employee over alleged misconduct with devotee

Tirumala, July 25 (TNT): The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Saturday suspended an Office Subordinate after a preliminary inquiry found that his conduct was in violation of the organisation’s service rules.

The suspended employee, identified as N. Sharath Babu, was working in the GNC area of Tirumala.

In a release, TTD said that an inquiry was initiated following allegations that the employee had behaved inappropriately with a devotee, in violation of the prescribed rules.

Following the preliminary inquiry, TTD found that the employee’s conduct amounted to a breach of service rules and, as part of disciplinary proceedings, issued orders placing him under immediate suspension.
