Tirupati, Apr 17 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Joint Executive Officer (Health & Education) Dr. A. Sharath on Friday directed officials to ensure timely completion of the new building of Sri Padmavathi Children’s Super Specialty Hospital in Tirupati.
Speaking after inspecting the ongoing construction works, Dr Sharath stressed that the project must be completed within the stipulated deadline and in accordance with approved plans.
He instructed that one room on each floor be developed as a model unit, incorporating all essential facilities including engineering, electrical systems, fire safety measures, and medical equipment.
He emphasised that every room should be equipped with infrastructure as per the approved layout.
The JEO also directed officials to expedite pending works through better coordination among departments.
He said that all medical and support facilities required for patient care should meet prescribed standards and suggested adopting best practices from reputed hospitals wherever necessary.
Later, Dr. Sharath inspected all six floors of the building, including the helipad on the top floor, and offered suggestions to improve execution.
He subsequently held a review meeting with officials at the site to assess the progress of the works.
Among those present were Chief Engineer T.V. Satyanarayana, Hospital Director Dr. N. Srinath Reddy, and other officials.
