TTD Additional EO Donates Five Indigenous Cows to SV Gosamrakshana Shala
On the occasion, TTD priests performed special pujas to Sri Venugopala Swamy at the Gosamrakshana Shala, followed by Go Dhana puja.
The Additional EO later offered fodder to the cows.
Chowdary said Gomata held a special place in Sanatana Dharma and that worshipping the cow as a mother was an integral part of the tradition.
He noted that beginning auspicious occasions with Go Puja was considered sacred.
He subsequently handed over the five cows to SV Gosamrakshana Shala Director Sivakumar and inspected the facility.
He enquired about fodder supplies, animal healthcare and general maintenance, offered suggestions for improving cow care and expressed satisfaction with the management of the Gosamrakshana Shala.
Gosamrakshana Shala Managers Dr. D. Nagaraju, Dr. T.V. Sudhakar and Dr. Balasubramanyam, along with Office Superintendent Venkatadri, participated in the programme.
