Trains diverted via Malkajgiri route after OHE snag near Moula Ali railway station :SCR

Hyderabad, Sept 27 (TNT): Several trains were temporarily detained or regulated following a technical snag in the overhead equipment (OHE) near Moula Ali Railway Station on Sunday evening, South Central Railway (SCR) said.

The technical snag occurred at  around 4.30 pm.

No trains were cancelled, while services were diverted via the Malkajgiri route due to the disruption.

The affected Sathavahana Express was subsequently cleared, while the Palnadu Express was moved from Moula Ali station with the assistance of a diesel engine, SCR said in a release.

Restoration works are being carried out on a war footing and are expected to be completed shortly.

Meanwhile, Train No. 17659 Secunderabad–Bhadrachalam Road Kakatiya Express will operate via the Malkajgiri route, skipping its scheduled stoppage at Moula Ali station.

Further updates would be communicated as necessary, the release added.
