Tirumala: Lord Malayappa Swamy taken out in grand procession on Suryaprabha Vahanam
Tirumala, Sept 21 (TNT): Sri Malayappa Swamy, adorned on the Suryaprabha Vahanam, blessed devotees during the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala on Monday morning.
The processional deity was taken around the four Mada streets on the Suryaprabha Vahanam amid devotional fervour.
The Suryaprabha Vahanam symbolises the bestowal of health, energy, knowledge and spiritual illumination upon devotees and signifies the life-giving presence of the Sun through which divinity can be experienced.
Both the Tirumala Pontiffs, TTD EO Dr M Ravi Chandra, Additional EO Sri Venkaiah Chowdary, JEOs Dr Sharath and Sri Prabhala Gopinath, CVSO Sri Murali Krishna, board members and other officials were present.
