Tirumala Brahmotsavams: Malayappa Swamy rides Chinna Sesha Vahanam as Panduranga Swamy
Tirumala, Sept 16 (TNT): Malayappa Swamy, the processional deity of Lord Venkateswara, was taken out in a celestial procession on the Chinna Sesha Vahanam as Panduranga Swamy on Wednesday, the second day of the annual Srivari Brahmotsavams at Tirumala.
The deity was taken around the four Mada streets on the five-hooded serpent carrier to bless devotees who gathered to witness the procession.
The Chinna Sesha Vahanam symbolises the spiritual awakening of Kundalini Shakti.
According to the belief associated with the vahana seva, witnessing the deity on the serpent carrier is believed to relieve mental stress and anxiety and bring peace and good health.
The Tirumala pontiffs, TTD officials and a large number of devotees witnessed the procession.
