TiE Hyderabad to Host TiE Women Asia Summit 2026 next month
Hyderabad, Aug 21 (TST): TiE Hyderabad will host the TiE Women Asia Summit 2026 from September 24 to 26, bringing together women entrepreneurs, investors, mentors and ecosystem leaders from across Asia.
More than 25 TiE chapters, over 100 delegates and 50-plus investors and ecosystem leaders are expected to participate in the three-day summit, which will focus on mentorship, investment, business growth, collaboration and cross-border opportunities, the organisers said in a release here on Friday.
The summit will serve as the Asia leg of TiE Women’s global entrepreneurial journey, with participating women founders showcasing their ventures, engaging with mentors and investors and competing for an opportunity to advance to the TiE Women Global Finals.
The TiE Women programme, a global flagship initiative of TiE Global, has received more than 11,000 applications from 62 countries, accelerated over 500 women-led startups and provided chapter-level mentoring to more than 1,000 women entrepreneurs, organisers said.
The initiative focuses on six pillars — Learning, Mentoring, Access to Funding, Scalability, Safe Space and Community — with the objective of helping women entrepreneurs strengthen their businesses and access wider networks and opportunities.
The summit will be structured around four pillars — Learn, Connect, Compete and Explore.
The first day, September 24, will feature Entrepreneurship Development Programmes conducted in collaboration with Knowledge Partner Woxsen University. Faculty members and industry experts will conduct sessions on financial fundamentals, investor readiness and fundraising, scaling across Asian markets, regional growth strategies and the use of artificial intelligence to improve productivity and competitiveness.
The second day, September 25, will focus on networking, founder engagement and ecosystem collaboration and will culminate in the TiE Women Asia Investor Networking Dinner, hosted by TiE Hyderabad’s Hyderabad Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Collective (HEEC) partners.
The TiE Women Asia Pitch Competition will be held on September 26, with women entrepreneurs from TiE chapters across Asia competing across three physical tracks and one virtual track.
The participating founders will present their ventures before jury panels comprising investors, entrepreneurs and industry experts.
The organisers said the competition would also provide participants with feedback, visibility and opportunities to engage with potential investors and ecosystem leaders.
Winners from the four tracks will advance to the next stage of the TiE Women programme and join winners from regions including North America and Europe at the TiE Women Global Finals, scheduled to be held during the TiE Global Summit in Indore from December 13 to 15.
“TiE Hyderabad is proud to host the TiE Women Asia Summit 2026, bringing together some of Asia’s most promising women entrepreneurs, visionary leaders, investors and ecosystem enablers. This Summit is more than a gathering—it is a platform where ideas connect, collaborations take shape and ambitious ventures find pathways to scale,” Murali Kakarla, President, TiE Hyderabad, said.
He said the summit would also showcase Hyderabad’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem and help women entrepreneurs access new opportunities and take their enterprises from Asia to global markets.
Nandini Aggrwal, Director, TiE Global and a member of the TiE Women Global Leadership Team, said the summit was central to TiE Women’s vision of embracing, engaging and empowering women entrepreneurs across the world.
“The Summit is built on the foundation of the six pillars of TiE Women: Learning, Mentoring, Access to Funding, Scalability, Safe Space and Community,” she said.
She said the broader objective was to empower women entrepreneurs to realise their business aspirations through resilience, knowledge and action while helping them build innovative solutions and create meaningful impact.
The TiE Women programme is led by TiE Global in collaboration with participating TiE chapters. Following a screening and shortlisting process, selected women founders participate in masterclasses and mentoring sessions before competing in chapter-level finals and regional stages.
The summit will conclude with a curated exploration of Hyderabad, offering participants an opportunity to experience the city’s innovation ecosystem, heritage landmarks, culture and local experiences.
The organisers said the summit aims to create pathways for women entrepreneurs to gain knowledge, mentorship, funding access, global connections and opportunities to scale their ventures.
