Telangana Governor Offers Prayers at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tirupati

Tirupati, June 21 (TNT): Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Sunday visited the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple and offered special prayers.

The Governor was accompanied by his wife, Janaki Shukla, and other family members during the visit.

Temple authorities received the Governor on his arrival and facilitated his darshan at the temple.

Following the darshan, Vedic scholars rendered Veda Ashirvachanam and blessed the Governor. Temple officials presented him with theertham, prasadam and a portrait of Goddess Padmavathi.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Shukla highlighted the spiritual significance of the temple and said India’s rich spiritual traditions continue to serve as a guiding force for society.

He observed that sacred centres such as the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple play an important role in preserving the country’s cultural and spiritual heritage and in promoting values of faith, harmony and devotion.
