Hyderabad, May 9 (TNT): The Indian Forest Service Examination 2025 results, declared on Friday , brought recognition to Telangana with several successful candidates having received mentorship and interview guidance from Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, DGP (Law and Order), Telangana.
Out of the 148 candidates selected nationwide, 84 aspirants were mentored under the guidance initiative led by Mahesh Bhagwat, reflecting his continued contribution towards supporting and encouraging civil services aspirants across the country.
Among the successful candidates from Telangana, Challa Yamini secured All India Rank 119.
Daughter of Head Constable Challa Yadgiri of Suryapet Rural Police Station, her achievement has brought pride to the Telangana Police Department and the state.
Another notable achiever, Pawar Akshay Haribhau, secured All India Rank 81.
He belongs to Pathardi in Maharashtra’s Ahilyanagar district, which is also the native region of Mahesh Bhagwat.
The mentorship initiative has also recorded a rare achievement, with candidates guided through the programme securing All India Rank 1 in the Indian Forest Service examinations consecutively in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Mahesh Bhagwat expressed gratitude to senior officers, academicians and mentors from across the country who contributed to the initiative.
Congratulating the successful candidates, he said public service, discipline and humility should remain central to their careers.
Encouraging aspirants who were unsuccessful this time, he advised them to reassess their preparation strategy positively after reviewing their marks and reminded them that UPSC results alone do not define a person’s future or capabilities.
The achievement is being viewed as an example of dedicated mentorship, disciplined preparation and the role of senior officers in nurturing future public servants.
