Telangana CM Revanth-led Telangana delegation holds roundtable with University of London

London, Aug 22 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday led the official TelanganaRising delegation at a roundtable meeting with the University of London, with discussions focusing on academic collaboration and the proposed establishment of a university campus in Hyderabad.

Industries and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu and senior officials K Ramakrishna Rao and Jayesh Ranjan participated in the meeting at the Senate House of the University of London, an official release from Hyderabad said.

The Telangana delegation met representatives of the University of London, including teams from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).

The University of London is working towards establishing a campus in Hyderabad that would offer a range of educational courses and programmes from various schools and departments forming part of its academic federation.

The University of London team included Kavitha Reddi, Ruth Kattumuri of LSE, Paul Madden, Prof Funmi Olonifakin, Dr Sky Zheng and Keith Harrison.

The meeting was part of the TelanganaRising delegation’s engagements with leading global academic institutions to explore education and knowledge partnerships and strengthen Hyderabad’s position as a global education hub.
