Telangana CEO Conducts Training for EROs Ahead of Special Intensive Revision
Hyderabad, June 9 (TNT): Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), C. Sudarshan Reddy on Tuesday conducted a training programme for all Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) in the State on the forthcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, scheduled to commence from June 25, 2026.
The training programme was held at the Office of the CEO, Telangana, in the presence of Additional CEO Dr. Vasam Venkateswar Reddy, Joint CEO M. Satyavani and Deputy CEO (FAC) A.S. Chary.
Addressing the participants, the CEO briefed them on the objectives and procedures of the SIR exercise and outlined the challenges likely to arise during its implementation. He also clarified various doubts raised by the EROs.
State Training Nodal Officer (STNO) B. Chennaiah explained in detail the various stages involved in the revision process.
PM-IT D. Chiranjivi provided technical training on the ECINET platform and the BLO App, covering procedures for filling Enumeration Forms, mapping electors, categorising uncollectible Enumeration Forms and other related activities.
The programme aimed to strengthen the capacity of election officials, familiarise them with the ECINET application, particularly the BLO App related to the SIR process, and ensure the smooth, peaceful and effective implementation of the Special Intensive Revision across the State.
Nodal Officers and other concerned staff also attended the training programme.
