Table Space expands Hyderabad footprint to 1.56 mn sq ft

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (TNT): Flexible workspace operator Table Space on Monday said it has expanded its Hyderabad portfolio to 1.56 million sq ft of leasable area, eight years after opening its first centre in the city in 2017.

Hyderabad was Table Space’s first market and has since emerged as a major office destination for global enterprises and Global Capability Centres (GCCs), the company said in a release.

The company’s Hyderabad footprint has expanded from established technology hubs such as HITEC City and Gachibowli to emerging commercial locations including Nanakramguda and Neopolis.

Global local-commerce platform DoorDash has selected Table Space as its workspace partner for setting up its first talent hub in India in Hyderabad.

The engagement will be implemented in two phases, beginning with an initial office and followed by a larger workplace in HITEC City.

Table Space will handle the lease, design, construction and ongoing management of the workplace.

According to a CBRE industry report prepared for Table Space, Hyderabad had around 113 million sq ft of Grade A office inventory as of the first quarter of 2026.

The city accounted for about 20 per cent of cumulative GCC office leasing across India’s top nine cities between 2022 and the first quarter of 2026, second only to Bengaluru.

The report identified the IT Corridor, comprising Kondapur, Madhapur, Gachibowli, HITEC City, Raidurg and Kavuri Hills, as Hyderabad’s established office market, while the Extended IT Corridor, including Nanakramguda, Kokapet and Kukatpally, has emerged as the city’s second-most active office leasing micro-market.

Hyderabad has more than 515 GCC units as of FY2026 and is the second-largest GCC market in India by number of units, according to the report, which cited NASSCOM-Zinnov data.

As of March 31, 2026, Table Space served 431 enterprise clients, including 115 GCCs and 45 Fortune 500 companies.

GCC clients accounted for 53.50 per cent of the company’s leased area, while companies headquartered outside India accounted for 92.49 per cent.

Table Space Chief Sales Officer Nitish Bhasin said the growth of global enterprises and GCCs in Hyderabad was driving demand for workplaces offering speed, customisation, technology, compliance and scalability.

DoorDash Global Director of Real Estate and Workplace David Ives said Table Space’s local expertise and ability to support the company from its initial office to its longer-term workplace in HITEC City would provide flexibility as it expanded its presence in India.
