Sanjay Jaju Assumes Charge as Telangana Chief Secretary

Hyderabad, June 30 (TNT): Sanjay Jaju on Tuesday formally assumed charge as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat.

A 1992-batch IAS officer, Jaju succeeds K. Ramakrishna Rao, who retired from service on Tuesday after serving as the State’s Chief Secretary.

The Telangana government had issued orders on June 26 appointing Sanjay Jaju as the new Chief Secretary.

n accordance with the orders, he officially took charge of his new responsibilities.

Senior officials, including Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries to the Government, Heads of Departments and Secretariat staff, congratulated Sanjay Jaju on assuming office and felicitated K. Ramakrishna Rao on his retirement.
