Sanjay Jaju appointed next Telangana Chief Secretary; Ramakrishna Rao to be CM’s Advisor
Hyderabad, June 26 (TNT): Senior IAS officer Sanjay Jaju, who was recently repatriated from Central deputation, has been appointed as the next Chief Secretary of Telangana.
The State Government on Friday issued orders appointing Sanjay Jaju (1992 batch) as the Chief Secretary to the Government.
He will succeed K. Ramakrishna Rao (1991 batch), who is set to retire from service on June 30 on attaining the age of superannuation.
Jaju’s appointment will take effect from July 1, following the retirement of Ramakrishna Rao.
In a separate order, the government appointed Ramakrishna Rao as Advisor and Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister upon his retirement. The government said the terms and conditions of his appointment would be issued separately.
Both the orders were issued by Principal Secretary to Government (Political) M. Raghunandan Rao.
