Rural healthtech platform CureBay raises Rs 100-Cr in Pre-Series C round
New Delhi, Oct 22 (TNT) : Rural healthcare startup CureBay on Thursday announced that it has raised approximately ₹100 crore in a Pre-Series C funding round led by existing investor IvyCap Ventures.
The financing round comprises ₹69 crore in equity investment led by IvyCap Ventures alongside other existing backers, and over ₹30 crore in venture debt from Trifecta Capital, Alteria Capital, and VentureSoul Partners, the company said in a statement.
The fresh infusion of capital will be utilised to fuel geographic expansion into new markets, including Andhra Pradesh, while scaling up its on-ground clinical delivery network.
Funds will also be deployed to bolster CureBay’s proprietary technology infrastructure, specifically its AI-driven ‘Intelligence Layer’ designed for automated screening, diagnostic analytics, and assisted clinical decision-making.
Founded in 2021 by Priyadarshi Mohapatra, CureBay operates an integrated six-layer “Rural Healthcare Operating System” that connects IoT-enabled physical clinics, a dedicated network of frontline healthcare workers called Swasthya Mitras, connected digital platforms, AI diagnostics, a 24/7 command centre, and its care management programme, CureBay Kavach.
Currently, the model is operational across seven states with over 250 technology-enabled clinics.
The network is supported by 1,800-plus Swasthya Mitras, 530 trained clinical staff, 230 empaneled doctors, and more than 210 partner hospitals and diagnostic laboratories.
To date, the company claims to have catered to over 17 lakh patients while conducting 400 community health camps monthly.
“Rural Bharat doesn’t need another app; it needs a system that works end to end, from the Swasthya Mitra at the doorstep to the specialist in the city,” said Priyadarshi Mohapatra, Founder and CEO of CureBay.
Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner at IvyCap Ventures, said the startup’s blended approach addresses persistent healthcare disparities across rural India.
“CureBay’s ability to combine technology with a strong on-ground healthcare network makes its model particularly compelling. We see significant potential in the company’s approach to scaling accessible, quality healthcare across underserved communities,” Gupta said.
CureBay, which collaborates with public healthcare programmes, has also been designated as an official healthcare delivery partner under the Government of India’s Samriddhi Kendra initiative.
