QualiZeal to add 600 employees in Hyderabad by 2028, sharpens focus on GCCs
Hyderabad, Nov 3 (TNT): Global technology services company QualiZeal on Tuesday announced plans to recruit over 600 professionals in Hyderabad by 2028 as part of its strategy to expand its business with Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
The proposed hiring will be across artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, data engineering, digital engineering and enterprise applications, the company said in a release.
As part of its efforts to accelerate GCC business development, QualiZeal has appointed Sunil Upadrasta as Vice-President and India Head, GCC, to drive client acquisition, market expansion and engagement with senior industry leaders.
Hyderabad accounts for nearly 80 per cent of the company’s workforce of over 1,100 employees and houses its three Global Delivery Centres.
The company aims to strengthen Hyderabad as a key delivery hub for next-generation engineering and AI assurance services to GCCs worldwide.
The expansion is part of its Vision 2028 target of becoming the fastest Indian IT services company to achieve USD 100 million in annual revenue.
QualiZeal Co-founder, President and CEO Pradeep Govindasamy said GCCs were increasingly taking strategic responsibility for enterprise innovation, products and platforms, creating demand for specialised partners in quality engineering, digital engineering and AI assurance.
Upadrasta said the company would focus on building strategic partnerships with GCCs to accelerate AI adoption while ensuring that solutions were trustworthy, transparent, compliant and resilient.
He has over 23 years of experience in sales, business development, delivery and digital transformation and has held leadership positions at Atos Syntel, Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Retail.
QualiZeal said its technology platforms, including QMentisAI, ValidAIte and NexaAI, would support its GCC-focused offerings.
The company is also exploring strategic partnerships within Hyderabad’s growing GCC ecosystem.
Hyderabad hosts over 515 GCCs and accounts for nearly one-fourth of the country’s total, making it one of India’s leading destinations for global capability operations, according to industry estimates cited by the company.
