PM Modi Says Ready to Extend Telangana Same Support Gujarat Received During his is Tenure as CM

Hyderabad, May 10 (TNT): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said he was ready to extend to Telangana the same support that the Gujarat Government received during his tenure as Chief Minister for ten-and-a-half years.

Addressing the gathering after virtually dedicating and laying foundation stones for multiple development projects in Hyderabad, Modi made the remarks while referring to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

“In a non-political conversation, I would tell Revanth Ji that I am ready to give him the same thing that the Gujarat government received during ten and a half years of governance,” the Prime Minister said.

However, Modi added in a lighter vein that if the same arrangement was implemented, Telangana might lose the benefits it was currently receiving from the Centre.
