Over 1.06 Cr Enumeration Forms Distributed in Andhra Pradesh Under SIR Exercise

Amaravati, June 18 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh election authorities have distributed over 1.06 crore elector-specific Enumeration Forms (EFs) as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, according to the daily bulletin released by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Thursday.

The enumeration phase of the revision exercise is being conducted from June 15 to July 14, 2026. As of 4 p.m. on June 18, enumeration forms had been printed for all 4.16 crore electors in the state and over 1.06 crore forms, accounting for 25.69 per cent of the electorate, had been distributed through 46,397 Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

The bulletin stated that 1.89 lakh forms, or 0.45 per cent of the electorate, had already been digitised.

Among districts, Krishna recorded the highest distribution rate with 59.74 per cent of forms distributed, followed by Chittoor (43.90 per cent), Tirupati (40.91 per cent) and YSR District (36.35 per cent).

Polavaram reported the lowest distribution percentage at 9.70 per cent, while Alluri Sitarama Raju (14.43 per cent) and Parvathipuram Manyam (14.94 per cent) were among the districts with lower coverage.

The Chief Electoral Officer’s office said the Special Intensive Revision is aimed at updating and verifying electoral rolls across the state ahead of future elections.
