Multi-Storey Building Collapses Near Delhi’s Saket Metro Station; Several Feared Trapped
New Delhi, May 30 (TNT) :Several people are feared trapped after a multi-storey building collapsed in south Delhi’s Saket area on Saturday evening, officials said.
The incident occurred on Western Marg in Saidulajab, near the Saket Metro station.
According to officials, the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) received a call about the building collapse at 7:44 pm, following which seven fire tenders were rushed to the site.
Rescue operations were underway, with emergency response teams clearing debris and searching for possible survivors.”
Authorities have not yet confirmed the number of people trapped or the cause of the collapse.
